Position Vacant: IT SECURITY COORDINATOR
Hours: 35hrs per week, 5 Days, 8.00am-5.00pm + call out rotor.
Wage: £45,000 per annum
Location: London.
Duration: Permanent.

Description
As security coordinator you will have overall responsibility for the design and development of new security systems, their testing and evaluation. Due to the nature of our business the successful candidate will receive ongoing training and development at our expense alongside a salary structure which reflects on the individual's abilities.
Required qualifications:
· Network security (degree level or higher).
· Computer science with security options (degree level or higher).
· Forensic computing (degree level or higher).
Skills and Knowledge:
- An excellent knowledge of IT security systems, tools and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Good project management skills.
- The ability to interpret and evaluate data accurately.
- An understanding of confidentiality issues.
- A commitment to keep up to date with emerging security threats, technologies and trends.
- The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- A proactive approach and confidence to take decisions.
- A knowledge of information security standards and legislation.
